In a strategic move aimed at solidifying its position as a leader in outpatient healthcare services, Haelan, the distinguished outpatient care arm of SAT Health, enters strategic partnership with the medical business of Verum - a renowned operator of outpatient healthcare centers with a focus on preventive care, operating medical centers in three regional centers, including Sofia. The two medical centers in Sofia, Polyclinics Bulgaria and 1st Pediatric Consulting Clinic, are widely recognized for their excellent outpatient healthcare delivery.

Strategic Integration:

The transaction, expected to conclude in Q2 2024, is a significant step in Haelan's strategic vision to become the largest provider of outpatient healthcare services in Bulgaria. This move made possible by the continued support of the private equity fund INVENIO Partners, follows earlier acquisitions, including Home Medic, Pia Mater, and Blocks medical Centre, aligning with Haelan's goal to operate 20 medical centers throughout Bulgaria by 2026.

Haelan Care, the newly established medical arm, serves approximately 50,000 patient visits annually across its medical and social care units.

Verum operates medical centers in three regional centers in Bulgaria, including Sofia, where its two medical centers Polyclinics Bulgaria and 1st Pediatric Consulting Clinic have become synonymous with excellent outpatient healthcare delivery. The group employs a team of 300 people, including more than 200 doctors, and delivers approximately 250,000 patient visits annually. The group is also a digital healthcare leader, having invested heavily to create a proprietary comprehensive and mobile-native software solution that represents the backbone of the whole organization.
